Spoilage Indicator buttons for the detection of freshness in packaged marine fish

Marine fish are generally caught on different days and kept in a fishing vessel. So, it partially spoiled the fishing vessel itself. If these fish are packed for selling in retail markets, the regular Time Temperature Indicator (TTI) cannot be used to assess the freshness. But, the spoilage Indicator buttons developed by MFB Division of ICAR-CIFT, Cochin, Kerala can able to differentiate the fresh or partially spoiled and completely spoiled by changing colour. So, the consumer can select the fresh one.
