A new method to modify the surface of polyethylene was done using (3-glycidyloxypropyl) trimethoxysilane (hereafter known as Silane). The silane is excellent property of adhesion and the process of coating is very easy. ICAR CIFT is developed a technology to modify the surface of polyethylene aquaculture cages  The silane coated surface successfully embedded with varied biocides like nano CuO, nano CuO-TiO2, Carbon dot –TiO2 etc were showed excellent biofouling resistance.
