The system features a 60 kg capacity drying chamber equipped with 24 food-grade stainless steel trays, heat exchangers, and axial flow fans. It utilizes an evacuated tube solar manifold that serves as the primary heat source during the day, while a biomass gasifier provides a reliable backup for night-time or inclement weather. This design uses water as the thermal storage and heat transfer medium, with air serving as the intermediate drying agent. To maximize efficiency, the dryer is fully automated via a PLC system and sensors, featuring an automatic damper for precise airflow control.
